Investment process

We like to keep things simple at Edwards & Co Property. There are 4 simple steps to the process of acquiring your investment property.
Step 1 – Initial consultation.
Once you have expressed your interest in having Edwards & Co source an investment property for you, we will have a consultation using your preferred method of contact, to understand your current situation and your goals in property. This will mean discussing certain strategies that may suit you as an investor.

Please note – If you are an investor with funds readily available, we recommend you verify your documents required in step 3 to improve the chances of securing the deal.

Step 2 – You Rest, We work.
We understand that when your savings are sat in the bank, you’re effectively losing money. We work as quickly as we can to secure the property that suits you best. In the meantime, you can put your feet up or spend your spare time doing things that you love.
Step 3 – Securing the deal.
Once we have secured a property for you to take on, we will contact you to discuss the details of the property and answer any questions that you may have. If you’re happy to proceed, the email will include the following;
  • Terms and conditions to protect both you and us.
  • Invoice of the sourcing fee - which is held in a secured client account until completion.
  • List of documents required to process to the next step.
Step 4 – Enjoy!
At this point, you can chose whether to be as hands on or off as you like. As we can also offer a service that covers the refurbishment if necessary and passing the property to a management company, so all you have to do is enjoy watching your money work for you.
